You may brush twice a day and even sneak in an extra tooth brushing after lunch but until you learn how to brush your teeth, you may not be able to get rid of BAD breath. Each time you reach out for a toothpaste, get into the habit of cleaning your tongue.
Using A Tongue Scraper
For a more thorough cleaning, use a tongue scraper. It is usually made of soft cloth, flexible plastic and gentile peels the thin mucus- base layer of debris from the tongue.
Rinse the scraper under warm water after each use.
If your tongue feels sore or begin to bleed, you are using the scraper with too much force. Work slowly and with little pressure. Concentrate of the centre of the tongue where the bulk of odor causing bacteria lies.
