5 Upcoming Korean dramas 2018 for K-dramas Lovers

We’re halfway through the year and there’s been some fantastic K-dramas so far. But there’s definitely more to come!

Here are five K-dramas we’re highly anticipating in the second half of 2018.

1) Are You Human Too?

This sci-fi K-drama has some serious buzz around it. It’s about an android called Nam Shin III who is created to replace the son of a rich family when the real son falls into a coma. Things get complicated when people start to think something is not quite right… oh and he falls in love with his bodyguard, naturally. Starring Seo Kang Joon and Gong Seung Yeon, it should be very interesting!

2) What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?

K-drama darlings and all-round babes Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young are teamed up in this comedy drama. The plot revolves around a narcissistic company vice president and his loyal secretary of nine years, who suddenly resigns from her job. Hijinks and shenanigans ensue, and maybe their strictly platonic relationship develops into something more?

3) Mr Sunshine

From the writer of Goblin and Descendants of the Sun, Kim Eun Suk, comes this new historical drama featuring actors Lee Byung Hyun and Kim Tae Ri. Set in the early 1900s, it tells the story of a soldier who falls in love with an aristocrat’s daughter. If it’s anything like Kim Eun Suk’s previous works, expect a lot of emotions.

4) Four Men

Here’s the selling point for this one: Park Hae Jin plays three identical brothers. Okay, if you need more info: Four Men is a romantic fantasy crime drama about a female detective who sets out to find the truth behind the death of her boyfriend, and meets the trio of Park Hae Jins along the way. The lead is played by After School’s Nana and there’s another idol involved, with NU’EST’s Ren in a supporting role.

5) My ID is Gangnam Beauty

This drama romance based on a manga is about a timid bullied student who gets plastic surgery, only to be mocked for it instead. With the help of a non-judgmental friend, she tries to find her self-esteem and fall in love. It stars Im Soo Hyang and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo!

Will be fun to watch for k-drama lovers!
